Position Overview:

We are looking for a Sales Assistant to support our CEO in achieving sales targets and providing excellent customer service. The Sales Assistant will assist in all aspects of the sales process, from greeting customers and answering questions,inquiries to processing transactions and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to help customers find the right products/services to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, maintain and organize customers and their companies in Netsuite, our CRM and operations system.
  • Listen to customer inquiries and provide accurate information / insight into our products/services.
  • Assist customers in finding the products/services that best suit their needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with the outside sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Keep the outside sales team informed of what is happening within the corporate office.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stay informed about product/service features and pricing.
  • Participate in sales training programs and meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Work with the quoting department on more complex projects that need more guidance.
  • Help facilitate a project's design and manufacturing to ensure a more efficient production process with the project management team. 
  • Help managing sampling and requests for samples
  • Manage the CEO’s travel schedule and ensure he has everything he needs for his travels.
  • Assist at trade shows (mainly in New York and Las Vegas) each held once a year.
  • Assist in product design and development
  • Travel approximately every other week around North America.


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in interior design preferred.
  • Knowledge in CAD and Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
  • Knowledge of Excel and manipulating sheets to obtain critical information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
